No way you will get into T3 if you are not flying from that terminal. And even if you where, it can take at least an hour to travel by road from T3 to T1. My record stands from T2 to T3 in 55 minutes!
Unfortunately I have never been into T1, however if it is anything like T2,3 and 4 then I wouldn't count on it. Best bet will be to head to the lounge as it will most likely be better than any other offerings in the airport.
What a disappointment! But there is not much to work with. The QC lounge is small, with warm fridges that did not really cool your drinks (as at Nov 17). I was hoping for a shower to wash the sweat off prior to the QF 20...but no. I should have read the blurb on the website about the amenities at the T1 QC lounge. Small, dingy, the odd fly buzzing about the uncovered sandwiches. Such a contrast. It is time for a make over I think.

MNL Lounge. How bad is the QF contract lounge at MNL T1? Is it even vaguely reasonable to contemplate using the CX lounge at T3 before a QF flight?

Thanks for the tip Barefootpilot.
Are there any decent (quiet) restaurants in MNL T1 worth spending time in before QF flight?
