Why is Virgin not releasing ANY reward space for Business Class seats to/from NZ?

Why is Virgin not releasing ANY reward space for Business Class seats to/from NZ?

I've looked at short, medium and long term (up to 330 days when VA releases award seats) and cannot find a single Business Reward fare. Any idea if they will open these up?

What status level are you?  Availability varies according to your level.  Typically top tier members would be able to get a seat via the phone service centre just about any time whilst J class may never open for Red level members.

Where are you looking? I can see award inventory in J when i do a Business search on the homepage and then swtich to points... Sample search MELAKL 16 March returns 33,800 pts + $95.22

I booked CHC/MEL/BNE last week  (for mid Decmeber)

I don't know how you are finding trouble with this! What route are you trying to get seats on where theres no availability for the next 330 days!!!!! I just did a simple search from BNE to AUK and clicked on each day for the next seven days, I found Business reward seats on all days. I then searched from OOL to AUK and also from SYD to AUK, and found business reward seats on all days for the next seven days. And I only looked at the next week! I logged in with my Platinum account as well as my partner's Red account and the availability is identical!

I find VA to have great award availability. It has even won awards for that in particular.

Haha yup that's right! I came up with my own abbreviation for Auckland somehow!

He is an Aucklander and his IP address was picked up. Due to the whole of NZ funding Aucklands Infrastructure upgrades are not allowed.
