Wants the best hotel around Sydney Airport for Plane spotting from the rooms????

No question about it. Rydges Sydney Airport, when booking I am pretty sure you cna ask for a view over looking the tarmac ( May be extra ), as a guest staying at the hotel you wil also have access to the plane spotters outdoor terrace where you can get unobstructed views of the airport. When the planes are coming in from the CBD you will have great landing views and also taking off views. When they are coming in from the beach you will get a good view of the heavies lifting off as they pass straight infront of you.

If it's a bright sunny day then the afternoon will be the best time to get your photos, for a sunny morning will result in backlighting.

I always stay at Rydges at the airport , its a very well run  Hotel and the GM is on the ball

It easy to get to and from the airport. Has its own bar and award winning restaraunt. But you can also get supurb viewing options from the observation deck, along with from your own room. They do a good package for plane spotters thats comes with some cheap binoculars, a room with a view and $50 food and beverage credits. Highly recommend this hotel.
