Best airline to get status with?

Best airline to get status with? I have about 40-50 hours of travel per year to see family. Thoughts?

I really like Qantas Frequent Flyer.

Well Jetstar you need to pay for the Plus packs and could earn on Qantas or Emirates.

On Qantas you could earn on any oneworld program plus Emirates, but on the cheapest fares would likely earn more on Qantas.

I suspect you are likely best on Qantas unless willing to fly with other airlines (eg. Hawaiian)

Do you hve any Credit cards that you can link to a Frequent Flyer account? IF you fly Qantas, your answer should be simple, but perhaps you want to experience Virgin?
