I have flown both QF & EK J on A380's and I tend to prefer EK. Flying to BKK from SYD in October and am deciding which one has the better J Product. I know that EK has angled lie flat seats and QF is like a lottery with getting on one of the refurbished A330. So with this in mind, which is the better J product on this route? Thank you all :-)
Qantas, even if you get the skybeds it's still better than EKs buisness on the 777, the fake gold just looks cheap and by October 6/10 qantas a330-300s will have the new buisness suites so you'd probably be better off with Qantas as youd have more chance of getting a better configuration.
Qantas defietley! EK 777 is horrible, 2-3-2 layout on their 777's and angled lie flat seats. Also I thin the food/wine list is much better on QF. As well with QF you will have a probable chance of getting the new Business Suite.
QF is great, if you manage to score the new suites. Most likely you will, as according to SeatGuru all QF A330s have been refurbished - but SeatGuru is never fully trustable.
EK is good on the A380, but on the 777-300ER it's just bad.
EK's Business Class is totally pathetic as far as seating goes and OK as far as service goes.
If my memory serves me correctly the seat in the B777 are the same as on the A380. The only difference is the A380 has 1:2:1 config and the single seats would be better if you are lucky to get one. Even if you select your seat months before EK can and do " give " them to someone else as was the case of my last and FINAL flight with EK. It's almost a Lotto getting your selected seat with them and their PR Division don't give a damn when complained to.
QF are very good but SQ are superb in all respects. Dont bother with EK , if you have to go with QF .

If you cant fly with SQ then QF would be the way to go. EK Business Class is pathetic.
The worst seats I have ever experinced in Business , narrow and the storage cabinet impedes the use of your arm when using the drinks table.
Would never use EK angain even their A380 J class seats are horrible.
Can't think of a good word fro them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just asking, I've never been but have always been interested - how bad exactly is EK A380 business?

TG's goooood (assuming you're on the A380).
