Yes you should be able to access the EK Lounges as QF Gold (where there is an EK lounge). Taken from the QF website;
"Enjoy access for you and one guest to Emirates Lounges throughout Australia, Europe, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East, whenever you fly with Qantas or Emirates. In Dubai, you and a guest may enjoy the luxurious Emirates Business Lounge and in other airports, the Emirates Lounges."

Speaking from personal experience, I turned up at the Emirates Busness Lounge in Dubai on Saturday with my QF boarding pass and Qantas Gold FF in hand and was refused entry.
Will be interested to hear how you go. I'm in the process of following up with both Qantas and Emirates to find out why I was refused as this seems to conflict with the guidance on the Qantas web site as Ryan points out above.

That's interesting - I have accessed the Emirates Business lounge in DXB several times when travelling on a QF ticket (both Y and J class) as a QF Gold on Qantas metal. When I travelled on Emirates metal via Dubai a couple of years ago (in Y on a Qantas-issued ticket) I was provided with a complimentary lounge pass for Dubai at check in, suggesting that access is typically not granted without a pass. I've not yet tried the combination of an EK ticket, on EK metal with QF Gold membership - hence the reason for posting my original question.
