Malindo Air has revised schedule for PER. Originally starting with a daily service, has now been increased to 10 weekly.

They have an extremely good product. If they offer attractive through fares they may do very well.

LCC / extremely good product??
Admittedly videos suggest their 737-900s (might fly them just for that) do have seatback IFE which is better than AirASia... but Airline Ratings has them 2/10 with some average reviews.
They describe themselves as "hybrid". The flights I have flown were great: heaps of legroom, good crew and reasonable prices.
