Qantas Club access in Hong Kong for 4 adults

We are a party of 4 adults travelling BNE to Hong Kong on QF in economy. I am QF Platinum, my wife is QF Silver with 1 only complimentary club invitation, and our other 2 travelling companions are Bronze.

I know I can guest in my wife in BNE to the first lounge as a Platinum (have been there before, and yes it is underwhelming - can't wait until the upgrade is finished next year), but wondering how likely it would be that the Lounge staff would also let me guest in my 2 other companions travelling with us ?

If unlikely I can guest in 3 people in BNE, would I be any more likely to guest in my wife, get my wife to give her complimentart pass to 1 of our travelling companions, and hope that they let me guest in 1 additional in HK ?

I do have Priority Pass as well, so if I am wasting my time trying to get all 4 of us in to the QF Club in BNE and HK should I not even bother trying and use a Priority Pass lounge in HK ?

Is so, which Priority Pass lounge do you recommend in HK ?

As a QF Platinum last year I politely asked if I could guest a second person in and was instantly declined. I suppose there's no harm in asking and you could get lucky on the day.

As a QF Gold I travelled recently BNE-AKL return in economy as a party of 5 (two of which were kids) and we were all accepted into the business lounge at both airports without hestitation. My wife had her complimentary lounge pass at the ready in case we hit problems but it wasn't required. All depends how busy the lounge is and how generous the QF staff are feeling on the day. I should add that you may want to try the business lounge in BNE rather than the first lounge given the very limited capacity of the latter - it may improve your chances of guesting additional passengers

I agree that your chances in BNE are OK, but not sure about HK. I suspect that lounges run by contract staff are stricter. However, when do you leave? I have a comp pass expiring end Nov I can give you as I won't use.

I think you have better chances at business lounge with extra complimentary pass.

I have few passess that i do not use and expiring next year since i am on Gold. PM me if you are interested.

I think the staff are very good at BNE. I got my sister and parents in with me when they were traveling SQ to the UK. I was flying QF. We were all attending a funeral and the staff were very understanding of the situation. Always worth asking the question.
