Hi guys, I have made a Qantas booking to Sydney in January next year but need to cancel. I am supposed to be going to Perth next week. Do you think Qantas would credit me back the fares for the Sydney trip or change the destination and date to Perth?

That is something which is entirely dependant on the fare type you purchased and cant be answered here unless that is known and the full terms and conditions… so……. contact Qantas

Sorry. I was just thinking some people may have been in the same position before. Never mind, thanks for your help.

We have all been in that situation before, but it entirely depends on which fare you purchased as to what can happen

For all current fare types you can have credit from a cancellation held by Qantas for future use, if not refunded. Possibly less fees, depending on the type.
