I am aware that in the QF SYD F lounge there are a few seats before going up the escalators. Is anyone welcome to sit there or do you have to be using the lounge?

in busy periods the glass door before these seats are manned and checked for Firstclass / Platinum passengers in quiet periods you may be able to get away with it but likely asked to move along.

Very rarely is there not a well known individual (at least to regular F Lounge attendees) standing at the entrance door checking boarding passes.

Common sense require some semblance of thinking. I think that ability is severely impacted on a diet of talk back radio.

You don't have to physically be in the lounge to "check in" via social media. You don't even have to be flying Qantas or its partners if that's your objective.

No I think it sounds more like oldmate is up for a freeload rather than a social media check in!

He's plotting a side door entry.
I think I discovered what those couches are for. It was a warm day in Melbourne yesterday and I unwittingly made my way to the airport in thongs. Remembered the dress code as I was going up the escelator. I had to change footware before entering, the couche aided this.
