Travelling with hernia
Hi just wondering about your experiences when travelling with hernia, I am not sure if I have one (have appointment soon) and have to attend this meeting I cant afford to miss. I am pretty sure I'll be fine but wondering if you had any tips from past experiences and such, thanks!

hernias are only medically important if they become strangulated. normally a hernia lump can be pushed back, if it can,t and becomes more and more painful it is likely to be strangulated. the contents of the hernia ( bowel or fat) dies and this is an emergency. travel should be ok but if going overseas ensure you have insurance cover.
