Should I be expecting something similar to VA Domestic Business? Not too many comprehensive reviews that I have been able to locate. Appreciate any advice.

Not really. Domstic Business is quite personalised. Long-haul Y+ will be more like Y with a few bells and whistles - slightly more legroom and recline, slightly better servicem slightly better presented food.
Dont get too excited.

Actually I found Premium with Virgin to the US very similar to their domestic J product. The seat, food, and service were all quite comparable. I'd see it becoming more personalised after they've finished the new cabins on the 777

Thanks for the info, actually FrequentFlyer you raise an interesting point, I wonder how the refit is going on the VA 777's? I heard it had been delayed to start early in the new year but not heard any other news since. Not sure if my March 2016 trip will see the new interiors or not? I am suspecting it won't!

They are predicting all aircraft to be updated by July 2016.
