High has anyone received the Qantas upgrade Bidding offer and been succesfull? I have received one for my upcoming flight to from Sydney to Dubai and would love to upgrade using Points and Pay

Hi, I havent personally been sucessful, have only participated in 2, and made the lowest possible bid.

From what I have read and learnt from QF employees, your level of sucess will really depend on how much you bid and what type of fare bucket you have purchased as well as the loading of the flight.

I also believe you may rank ahead of upgrade bidders if you apply for a classic upgrade, but again, sucess in that is dependant on all the factors mentioned above.
