I am planning a QF status credit run to maintain Platinum and see a flight which departs on the last day of my qualifying period but doesn't land until the next day (i.e. the day after my anniversary month) - do I have to complete the flight within my qualifying year or simply to have commenced it?

Scheduled commencement date for the sector is what counts.

eg. even if a 2355 departure is a few hours late.
