Anyone know if CX hand out amenity kits in J on regional flights?

Flew SIN - HKG back in July and no did not receive amenity kit

As far as I know all or most regional flights on CX are by Dragonair.

I have always been given them on Dragon. It may depend a bit on length of flight and time of day though. 

CX label some of their seat maps as regional.  I have flown to Japan on these.   Mostly older 777s.  The OP has said CX, though it is possible it is a codeshare ?

SIN-HKG (via BKK) A333 on CX, followed by HKG-KIX B772 also on CX.

The CX website appears to only distinguish between long haul J and regional J for the seat.  So amenity kit should be common.  The HKG-KIX will be the regional J seat since that is the only product on 772s.  (Was on HND to HKG last week and it was a long haul 773 configuration with Y+ and flat seats in J).  Not sure which 333 version is used for SIN-HKG.

I've got a 6hr15min flight in CX J coming up - an overnight red eye and I'm very curious to find out if I'll receive an amenity kit. It is on CX metal, A333 with new J product, and all I've been able to find on the CX website is that kits are handed out on long haul flights only... Does a 6hr flight fall in the regional or long haul bucket... I'll let you know how I go!

Unfortunately no amenity kits were handed out on either flight, (SIN-HKG (via BKK) A333 on CX, followed by HKG-KIX B772 also on CX).

@chris72 - what a shame. Guess that answers the question of if I'll get one between ICN-HKG.

As for my other flight: MLE-HKG, the 6hr block time with actual flight time 5hr15min red eye - YES, we got a kit.

l think it was a new kit also - not what I expected. I was looking forward to one of the "controversial" coloured kits hoping for an orange or purple one... Instead for a very conventional grey zip up case with all the same contents.
