Delta First Lounge Access ? Does a First boarding pass for a Delta US domestic flight grant lounge access without loyalty scheme membership (as does QF J) ?
You will be able to access the lounge if you are flying between New York-JFK and Los Angeles or San Francisco or if you are connecting from an international business class flight onto a domestic flight.
Looking at a stand-alone NYC-MIA. The F fare can be very low compared to what we would pay for a 3h flight in J on a 737 with QF or VA, so good value even without lounge access.
dont expect the same level of service or quality of food on the delta flight as you would the Qantas. US Airlines 'first' class is no more than Australian economy class on Qantas with a slightly larger seat.
Actually Delta flights between LA/SF- NYC have fully flat seats (2-2 on 757 or 1-2-1 on 767) and upgraded catering. Compared with what Qantas serves on a similar flight - Delta wins hands down.
