I have received a Qantas Club Pass from my Qantas Silver Frequent Flyer membership. Am I able to use my pass to visit the qantas International business lounge in Melbourne? Also can I take a guest with me with just using one pass? And if you can take a guest how many children would you be able to take into the lounge?
Passes are marked as valid for one person only, but as others have said, it never hurts to ask and be gracious if extra guests young or old are declined.
Indeed it does, but the content on that page is tailored for Qantas Club members, not Qantas Club complimentary invitation holders. The lounge staff may well allow access for children with an adult using a complimentary pass, but as it's not strictly within the printed rules for one-off visitors, it's more to be requested than expected. :)

Qantas Club complimentary passes can be used at any domestic Qantas Club or at any Qantas-operated International Business lounge.
One pass per passenger, but you may be able to convince the lounge attendants to let in a child as well. Just don't count on it, or expect it.

My experience (well mine and that of associates) has been a strict one adult per pass. Some sweet talking will, most likely, be required re a child.

I understand that a guest pass would give you the benefits of any member with access eg a normal qantas club member.
These memebers are allowed up to 2 children under 18 to enter with them. Anyone 18 or over would require their own access or guest pass.

Hey Chris
QF site says children 4-17 are not counted as guests
http://www.qantas.com/travel/airlines/qantas-club-lounge-access/global/en
So passes are treated separately to normal guest access? Oh well learnt something new
