No intel but makes sense that Jetstar could / would expand. If not into new routes, increasing frequency on existing routes.

If it is happening then it won't be happening quickly. No delivery slots available anytime soon

Interesting table, but does customer = unknown imply an available slot ? Then a year out seems soon enough.

"unknown" likely means the production slot is assigned but Boeing has not yet released which airline is getting that slot. A number of those unknown slots are likely for the 8 confirmed QF 789s.
QF orginally had 115 787s in a mix of firm orders, options and purchase rights. 15 788 for JQ, 50 789, 20 789 options and 30 purchase rights.
Between 2009 and 2012, the 50 confirmed 787-9s were cancelled, keeping the options, purchase rights and the 15 787-8s before cancelling 1 of the 788s a few months later.
Last year, they converted the 3 remaining JQ -8 orders to -9s and firmed up 5 of the 20 options.
The current QF 787 order book is 8 firm orders, 15 options and 30 purchase rights.
The linked spreadsheet has around 23 months of production slots listed (10 aircraft/month through May, then 12/month). The 8 QF confirmed orders and possibly some of the options will be listed on there as unknown.
