Food - in the lounge or on the plane? Oh for those 1st world dilemmas!! Travelling F on ek from Syd with 21:45 departure. Contemplating do I gorge with Neil or do I wait until in the air. What would you choose? I think I might have a main in the lounge and leave space for a glass of Dom, some caviar and mezze in the air
I would do exactly that! Emirates' main menu is dine on demand so you can nap a bit then eat later in the flight. I would tell them to hold a caviar for you just incase though

I found the food in first on EK to be underwhelming! I would go for Neil in the lounge

Mr Gutsy here says go for both, albeit in moderate quantities! Isn't that what First Class is for?

Well the lounge is glorified cafe food (allbeit done well), and first class EK is at least mid range restuarant quality.
