I am flying VA International from Sydney to DPS (I know, WHY?!?!?)

What lounge can I access? Is it only Air NZ lounge? Or can I go into the SIA lounge too?

Assuming you're gold? It's Air NZ in Sydney which is pretty good. Nice view and quite spacious. 

And I have the same predicament flying to DPS. No options. I long for wide bodies on that sector. Look at buying a flexi fare and upgrading with points. It's a quality service and intimate cabin but the ipad gets annoying after a few hours.

Y seats are very mediocre. Fine for domestic but really pushing it to DPS

I haven't tested it. The protocol is Air NZ lounge. I did test Etihad last time I flew DPS and was politely declined.

No access to the Singapore Airlines lounge – you can go to the VA website, select Velocity Gold, click on the airline you're flying and then scroll down to the city you're departing from to see which lounge you can use.
