Travelling AF in j to cdg, need to connect to LYS. If I book an AF ticket cdg to LYS will they interlink the bags ( return trip) and if the mel-cdg flight is delayed will they help put me on the next af flight or am I on my own as 2 separate bookings?
They won't protect you as it's a separate ticket, so you will either need insurance or a fully flexible ticket.
They will be able to interline the bags and you will collect them in Lyon instead of Paris, but you will enter the EU in Paris by showing your passport when transferring terminals.
