Hi all,
This will be my first international trip with QFF gold to locations that don't have a designated QFF lounge. Just wondering if anyone can help me with my lounge question below.
I have been able to find answer to all my locations bar one - Barcelona. I will be flying from BCN to DXB on a QF ticket but EK metal. The EK website has a third party lounge, which is also mentioned on the OW website as a third party lounge. Am I able to use these
Thanks in Advance

EK have a similar arrangement in Rome (or did when I was there). They will direct you to the lounge and will have a lounge invitation printed on the bottom of your boarding pass.
Enjoy

Hi TFG,
Emirates uses the AENA Sala Miro third-party lounge at BCN.
After your trip, could you please report back whether this worked out or not? I would be very interested to hear your experience.
The staff at airport lounges are very often confused or under-trained about what the entry eligibility requirements are, when a guest presents them with anything more complicated than the most basic airfare.
Late last year I contacted Iberia in advance to check that I could access Barcelona's AENA Sala Miro lounge on an Iberia codeshare flight as a Oneworld Emerald member. They responded in the affirmative.
On arrival at the Miro lounge in BCN, the staff were extremely disagreeable and denied me entry (even after showing them the conflicting correspondence from Iberia).
Recently, the staff at JFK told me I couldn't bring a guest into the Admirals lounge before my AA flight, which is wrong. On another recent trip, the BA staff at LHR said I wasn't allowed into the Galleries First lounge before my QF flight, which is also wrong.
It can really be a mixed bag, if I were you I would send Emirates a Facebook message and get them to confirm your entitlement to access the lounge, and then re-confirm it at BCN with the check-in desk agent.
Best of luck!
Jay
