Will Qantas be updating the aircraft they use on flight QF030? I fly on this flight quite often and I'm over this aircraft because it's paint hasn't been updated to the new lively and the seats are old (the business seats are louder than the 747s when reclining) and I just hope that it will be either upgraded or retired soon of I'm going on Cathay from now on. Thanks for your help!

Just switch to CX. There's an article around here somewhere about the great new interiors they have.

I think I remember reading somewhere that QF was looking at updating the Business Class product on the A330. I think they were looking at the Skybed Mark II for the aircraft or a slightly modified version. However I wouldn't expecting any changes anytime soon and looking at the new CX product it looks fantastic.

agree with tronixstuff & DGP, switch to CX J, far superior product to the current QF A330 J.

Absolutely ditch Qantas for Cathay. I've only recently started to consider Qantas to Hong Kong again, and that's only because they now have the A380 out of Sydney, with fully flat beds.

Thanks for your advice! Im thinking of QF A380 to HK (just a stop in Sydney) because that is what I usually do. But next flight I will try and get Cathay's new business product on the flight to Australia. I make the trip 1 or 2 times per month and quite frankly I am truly sick of QF's A330 product. Honestly, juggling family (in HK) and an education is not easy! Once again thanks for your help :)

Just Fly Virgin Atlantic. That's Virgin Atlantic HKG to SYD and with a good connection get your Virgin Australia Domestic Connection onto Melbourne from Sydney. The Other Option is on the coming back sector get the Non Adelaide stoppers on Cathay Pacific into Melbourne. It's not that bad.
