No. The new 777 business class will only be installed on new 777's to the fleet.

You will have to wait until at least November and then will depend on which routes the new triple 777s are allocated to!
If you are flying to Christchurch, consider going via Auckland where you have a choice of three A380 flights daily via Australia or non-stop 777-200 from Dubai.

I can't remember exactly...but isn't the new business class config going to be 2x3x2? Hardly an upgrade by the sounds of it. They must have hit up United Airlines on how to come up with a dreadful seat...

Yes the new seats will be 2x3x2 but fully-flat instead of angle flat. Not sure how they're going to compete with the other two of the ME3, both EY and QR have great business seats now on all aircrafts and they're getting even better with new aircrafts coming in that are fitted with next-gen seats. Maybe EK can compete on price instead.

only factory fresh 777's will get them, the existing 777's wont get them, which means only 37 777-300Er's will get them while 115 will not so dont expect to see those seats often.
