To gain SC for virgin on an Etihad flight. What are the conditions? Can it be operated by Alitalia cause there's nothing on the virgin website aside from no sc gained from Ethan regional.
I don't think you will earn Virgin SC when EY is not operating the flight. The statement below is from the velocity website in relation to earning points;
Earn Points with Etihad Airways when you travel in an eligible class on flights with an EY flight number* and operated by Etihad Airways or Virgin Australia.

From my experience Alitalia does not give you SC or Velocity points. Atleast, it didn't when I flew from Abu Dhabi to Milan and back last September.
