Flying Perth-Brisbane-Mongolia with Virgin Australia partner airlines?

HI, virgin platinum member . I need to travel from Perth- brisbane to mongolia. Anyone know waht airline partners go there with virgin. I need to collect as many stauts cerdits as possible.

Your best bet would be to book VA ( operated by SQ) flights to HK or Beijing via Singapore, then from there onto Mongolia with either Mongolian Airlines or Air China.

Best off going with SQ in to BJS and then onwards with Mongolian or Air China as stated earlier.
I would steer clear of HK as there are significanly less options than through Beijing. 

To maximise credits, if you have some time on your hands, consider doing PER-BNE/SYD/MEL-SIN-PEK and then onto Mongolia.

If you're in J class, it would be a very comfortable journey if you ensure you fly VA's A330s and one of the SQ 77W/A388s
