I have a 13-hour transit stop in Dubai and will be transferring from an EK flight to a BA flight and would like to know if the BA lounge at DXB has shower facilities or not.

I have a 13-hour transit stop in Dubai and will be transferring from an EK flight to a BA flight and would like to know if the BA lounge at DXB has shower facilities or not. The information on the OW website seems to indicate that it doesn't, so wondering if perhaps that's just a typo or if there really are no showers. In which case what other OW lounge options are there at DXB Terminal 1?

For 13 hours, I would be tempted to use the International Hotel inside the airport terminal and without the need to clear immigration/customs. We have used it on a number of occasions for a decent sleep and shower etc. 13 hours in any lounge is a long time!

Have to agree, I love lounges more than most but that would even be a stretch for me.

Wow, 13 hours? I'd be tempted to store my bags somewhere and spend half a day in Dubai, before returning a few hours before the onward flight to shower and freshen up.
(Your profile does say you travel 275 days a year, though, so if there's nothing more for you to see or do in Dubai, the International Hotel mentioned above could be a good option.)

Oops! I should have clarified, I'm planning to go into the city for most the day so I wont be sitting around the airport for 13 hours. I want to be able to have a shower and change of clothes before my onward BA flight.

I usually use QF or EK in and out of DXB so normally use the EK First Lounge. This will be my first time departing DXB with BA.
