Has anyone used Uber to pick up or drop off at BKK airport?

Has anyone used Uber to pick up or drop off at BKK airport?

Any tips?

I know there are lots of taxis but I loathe having to deal with cash and tolls and all that. With Uber its all cashless and itemised in your account.

I've done both, getting picked up was a bit of a mess and the driver had to do loops before we could find them - they usually ask which number door you are standing near but don't make it clear which level you should be on (seems it's the public pick up road, even for Uber Black), not the limo and taxi area.

Getting one to the airport is incredibly easy. IIRC 500THB for UberX and 1000THB for Black, but you might want to check if those fares are still correct.

I'm going to hedge and get a hotel pick up from the airport and an uber from the hotel to airport.
