VA 'The Business' pre take off drinks.

Does VA offer pre takeoff champagne for business class passengers when flying on the A330 Coast to Coast services

I've been offered wine, sparkling wine and champagne for pre takeoff drinks.  However, I have only flown in the evenings / late afternoons on the A330 c2c services.

I think they are doing champagne cocktails very soon

I’ve always been offered champagne, water or juice before departure. Its offered as soon as you board if the cabin crew aren’t busy, they also teach you how to use ‘the business’ seats if you have never flown the new business class before. I always choose champagne despite it tasting absolutely horrible on Virgin, I just like to feel special and part of the in crowd because I sip champagne. Some people ask for other drinks such as wine but they are told only after takeoff.

Last night on the 330 it was still/sparkling water, juice, or champagne.

delly is right, the champagne is pretty ordinary. I actually thought it might have been N.V. Bolly cause it had that slightly chemically cheap Bolly aftertaste. 

The passion fruit roulade on the other hand, was lick the bowl material.
