Does anyone know if I can access Etihad's First Class lounge (opening next month) when arriving on a First Class flight?
I have a 2 hour lay over before continuing on in J so won't be clearing customs to use the Arrivals lounge. Will I be able to access the First lounge or just the Business lounge?
When I asked at the desk it was dependent upon the class of your next leg, but always worthwhile asking when you're there as well as it sounds like it'll be a great experience!
Etihad First Class lounge is for onwards flying First Class passengers. If I was flying in Business I'd use the appropriate lounge and not try and gate crash one that you don't qualify for.
I asked the same question on another popular Frequent Flyer site and was advised by the EY rep that I would only have access to the lounge corresponding to the class of the onward flight; ie J class.
However, other FFr's advised that in the old lounge coming from long haul F onto J allowed F lounge access and that we should wait and see what transpires when the new lounge opens.

I am anticipating I will enjoy the J lounge...

Just follow up, if arriving on long haul F connecting to a flight without F (so in J) you do get access to the F lounge in AUH.
You do not get any of the complementary Spa products however.
