update on velocity pilot gold / lounge pass question

2 days ago I asked about status matching / lounge passes to allow me to accrue flights needed for velocity gold without losing lounge access as I am QFF P. I phoned velocity and the service agent, although pleasant, could not help. I then phoned the accelerate sales team. Much more helpful, Alex offered me lounge passes immediately for my forthcoming flights and suggested I join accelerate to be considered for pilot gold. Just though you might want to knoe in case considering a switch from QFF to VA.
