Sorry iPhone being a pane. I am arriving into TBIT with Virgin (half the price for J flight compared to Qantas) but will grab a flight to San Francisco with AA. I have a few hours time to burn. I am Qantas platinum so heard I may be able to go to the Qantas lounge in TBIT. Has anyone done this before?

Thanks

Youll have no problems getting into the Oneworld Business Lounge and QF First Lounge at TBIT as well as the AA lounges using your QF Platinum status. After you clear customs youll turn right at curbside and check in at Terminal 4 next door, and then you could walk to TBIT via the connector after security and the lounges are the first places you'll pass by when you get to TBIT.

I would double check though that you allow enough time for your AA flight if it happens to be one of the several flights on this route operated by American Eagle which would mean taking the shuttle bus to the remote terminal from the Terminal 4 gates area. There is an AA lounge at the remote terminal as well. If you do have ample time and want to stretch your legs, then I would definitely head over to TBIT or at least go to the main terminal 4 AA lounge for a shower and breakfast. There isn't a lot on offer at the remote terminal AA lounge besides alcohol, snacks, and some meals for purchase.

Thanks Sean, this answers my question perfect. I have 4 hours to burn so will head to the QF lounge.

Thanks again,
