Just wondering what the lounge experience on the DXB layover is on MEL/LHR/MEL. I'm a QFF Gold travelling in Prem.Eco- are showers a long wait etc? Just working out if I'll be able to use them during the layover.
You will be in the Emirates Business Lounge. Showers are available. You need to register your name with the shower attendants as there is often a wait.
The lounge in the A Concourse (A380s only) is pretty good. The other lounge in the B Concourse is more cramped but as you are on a QF flight, I think you will definitely be in the A concourse.
Love the Business Lounge there in Dubai. Agree with the comments above in terms of the showers, etc. Make sure first thing as soon as you arrive to book yourself a time. Also enjoy the hotel lobby ambience with a Moet and Chandon and some popcorn...Quite a good combo til your connecting flight.

Definitely A concourse more likely. Make a beeline for the showers when you get there and grab a tag.. (they use the vibrating tags like some cafes)
Then you can explore the lounge and look at food options etc.
