Hi James, please be aware of AusBT's published comment policy, specifically:
While it's a fine line in Q&A topics like this one, we'd ask for any comments here to come only from independent customers who have used one of these types of businesses, not from the owners who have a financial interest in promoting the service.
Maxs: I'd wonder if you even need one of these services: is the issue that you can't find availability when you're looking to travel, or that you're hoping to buy points and book a flight with those points, but just don't know how it's done?

Have lots of ual points (enough for 2 business class ticked) and have used them in the past, primarily to europe, although not for about 5 years . It was not always clear what was available. It took a little going through United in US to make bookings. It was difficult to get singapore air buisness class booking. I would like to try a booking from canberra next year after the new Canberra international flights come on board and i thought it useful to seek assitance this time.

My experience is that SQ award availability is not shown on the UA website. To book SQ using UA miles you will have to call United (and pay the telephone booking fee).

I understand the process and have used it. It has limitations in that you are reliant on the united operator. Severalyears ago abt had an article (which I cannot find) on award booking services such as bookyouraward.com. I was wondering whether anyone had used such a service fro booking from Australia,
