American is discontinuing 30 day Admirals Club memberships as of July 25, 2016. As reported by Ben from onemileatatime i.e. the "loophole" to access Qantas lounges, without an annual Qantas Club membership or an elite OW member is being officially closed.

By the way Chris and David, the question field is a bit buggy. You can't seem to type beyond a few characters. That would explain why lately questions on this site had to be "supported" by a further post. Hope this feedback helps.
