How long does VA take to approve Gold status after earning SCs & sectors

How long do VA take to approv gold status after crds&secs OK

My wife had done her 500 status credits and 4 VA sections a week ago but her status is still silver. The website now shows that she needs -10 credits to upgrade ( what a lazy programmer). I didn't remember if it took so long for my status being approved.

She's flying to SIN/PEK tomorrow and she's missing her first gold flight.

The first time I achieved gold I rang VA as I had  a flight upcoming as it wasnt changed over (about 5 days). It was changed within 2 days or so, I could use the benefit straight away without the new card on a VA operated lounge and flight.
