Is the Etihad 777 that flies to MEL the same type of aircraft that flies to SYD? Reason I ask is last time I flew on the EY 777 from AUH-MEL the business class was the older style, whereas the business class on the 777 that flies to Sydney seems to be the newer style.
Very good point last few times we have been on the Auh - Mel the business class product is very dated and especially in first class the aircraft was worn out inside. Entertainment wasn't working for me. Any plans to make both flights 380 ?
When you say old, do you mean the blue colour seats instead of the beige ones? Coz they are essentially pretty much the same seat, only the beige ones had a cosmetic make~over. I've only ever got the beige ones on my previous flights (AUH~MEL). I thought the blue ones were all gone...but maybe not.
