If by Auckland Central you mean the CBD, which would then indicate your question is "does anyone know of any hotels in Auckland CBD that provide free overnight parking for guests"...

Then the answer would be no. 

Of the 15+ hotels I have stayed at downtown, all have paid parking.

If you really really need free parking I'd suggest trying AirBnB where you might be able to secure an apartment with onsite parking

Check out 'Braemar on Parliament Street, (near The Pullman). Free parking, breakfast and wifi. Old Mansion house, quiet, only 4 rooms all beautiful. 10 min max walk to Smith and Caugheys in Queen Street.

Good luck! We usually stay at the Crowne Plaza AKL who have a partnership with the next door carpark for discounted rates - still something like $30 a day and its an awful carpark. Great hotel though!

I usually stay in Auckland at the Takapuna Oaks which is actually ten minutes from Takapuna in Bayswater right on the harbour.

 Google VR hotels or look at Qantas Hotels for info

Its free parking and  they run a shuttle to Bayswater wharf from the hotel [ about two minutes in duration]

They give you a  free ferry ticket and  its ten minutes on the ferry to Aucklands cbd right at the bottom of Queen St or you can get the hotel shuttle to Takapuna and get a bus to the cbd or you can get a bus opposite the hotel to the city via the Harbour bridge

There are plenty of restaurants in Takapuna and it has a beautiful beach as well

I use the "Linger Longer" option at the Langham in Symonds St and, because I rarely eat at the hotel, then apply the daily credit towards my parking which is also $30 as mentioned above.
