As a OW emerald cardholder on CX I receive a welcome in person from the ISM even back in Y. I drop to CX gold which is OW sapphire next month, will I still receive a welcome?
On a recent return trip to Europe (4 flights) in J class, I received a welcome on one of the legs. Did not really bother me, but may help manage your expectations. (QF lifetime gold, Sapphire)
