If booked in F on an EK flight (but done so through a Qantas booked codeshare), should I expect a call the day before to organise a spa booking in the Qantas F lounge? Or does this only occur when booked on a Qantas F flight?

You'll only get a call from a Qantas First Host if travelling on Qantas metal.

I assume you're travlling from Sydney.Although the Qantas lounge is by far superior to Emirates,bear in mind it's quite a distance from the gates EK use.Allow plenty of time.

Last time we had that situation, we got no call - platinum flyer booked in F, QF code, EK operation. I think you only get a call for QF operated flights. We even got encouraged to go to the EK business lounge instead of QF F. We went to QF anyway as is our right but it was an odd level of discouragement. 

Interesting that you were encouraged to go to the EK lounge. I'll see what is said when I go to the Qantas F lounge (likewise entitled to). 

The lounge staff didn't mind or mention going to EK, this was all at check-in.
