Excuse above i didn't realise it would post the question at that stage. 

I recently took a flight with Emirates and was wondering whether it is possible to earn both Qantas frequent flyer points and Emirates Skywards miles on the same flight?

What do you think is the purpose of frequent flyer programmes?

And what do you think will happen if an airline allows you to accrue point/miles on two programmes simultaneously for the one flight?
