Any recommendations on best OW lounge on a Thursday night? I like QF but was thinking of checking out BA or one of the others, especially if QF is going to be crowded. Cheers

The relatively newly-refurbed BA lounge has a great ambience - quite chic, elegant and sophisticated. However, I'd rate the food more highly at the Qantas lounge. What differentiates BA's lounge is the Concorde Bar, which requires you to be travelling BA First. Or to be an Executive Club Gold Concorde Room cardholder and/or Invitation Only Black Premier cardholder

You could also head to the Emirates lounge - always solid in Singapore. Their food is usually pretty good and they serve champagne as well (which they do not at the Qantas lounge unless you're Chairman's lounge and/or Platinum One). However, the bathrooms/showers are not as nice as the Qantas and BA lounges.

Fantastic, thanks Trevor :)
Emirates intrigues me, might have to start there!

Emirates was great. Right next to the departure gate (C20) and it was effectively empty. Many people saying how crowded the QF lounge had been overheard while boarding. Sure, no made to order food, but more than made up for by a regular turnover of the hot food and no queues for it, as well as a far superior wine selection (IMHO).
