Anyone take up Virgin's Business Class Offer? There's a 40% discount on Virgin Australia's business class fares (as of 21/11/12). I just snapped a $319 ticket one way to Melbourne (from Sydney). Anyone else take part in the deal?
Yeah I changed my trip home for Christmas SYD-HBA via MEL from Flexi and took advantage the Business deal instead. Only an extra $120 for the one way (my return was outside the travel dates). I'm wondering if the new SYD lounge will at least be partially launched by then.
Yes, booked BNE-DRW in March. Not too sure what I'm going to do with it... either use it to fly onwards to Asia or a random trip to Darwin.
I had a brief look at most of the sale fares and it looks like the BNE to/from CNS fare is the best value if you're status running. Earns 60 status credits each way and the fare is $369, so that's $6.15 per status credit which isn't too shabby for a run within Australia.
