According to brisbane airport corp november and december timetables, it is schowing emirates operating the a380 on the EK432/3 DXB-SIN-BNE flight and china airlines operating the 747 on CI53/4 on TPE-BNE-AKL route. What is happening?
It could be human error but you have to remember that these timetables are used by BAC only to give a simple idea of the possible departures/arrivals on a particular day so they know for gates, staff, customs etc.
That same timetable has QF134 listed as QF134Z and in the past has contained references to a possible Air Asia flight.
Both Emirates and China Airlines are selling those flights with a 777 and an A330 so I wouldn't expect anything better but you never know if they will operate a bigger aircraft in the end.
China Airlines did use 747 on CI53/54 during the school holiday months of December (15) - February (16) last year. Wouldn't surprise me if they are doing it again

I have been on the TPE-BNE route and it was operated by a 747 - quite full if I may add.
