Here is a tip if you care to earn a few more TPs and even reach BA Gold. Fly economy to SIN on BA. That gets you 35 TP (70 TP return) rather than 20 TP (40 TP return) on QF. Then from Singapore, purchase the cheap Business class tickets to HKT via KUL from MH. That gets you an additional 160 TP (40 x 4). If you're happy to spend a bit of time getting to your destination then it sure beats flying Jetstar!

I hear you.....also as Qantas Platinum on intra Asia flights with Jetstar, I think I barley get what I pay for.
Jetstar don't recognise status I am afraid...
