Allowing  LTS to start the year needing 600 instead of 700 would be an acknowledgement of their loyalty!!

Reducing the number of status credits to reach higher tiers could make sense; e.g. after just attaining/retaining Silver for approximately 20 years the same annual flying will attain Gold (same could happen for LTG to Platinum). However, as the name suggests, I don't see why Lifeime "Silvers" should get preferential treatment or additional benifits over other Silvers. Whether the benefits afforded to Silvers is competitive with other FF programs is a different question.

I started flying QF when Ansett (remember them...) went belly up (good bye points) and it took about 13 years to reach LTG.  No idea when LTS happened as was annual Gold and then Plat. As I have said before, don't be in a rush as you're obviously trying to spend too much time away from home...!!!  However bring on LTP  :)
