I am flying from Brisbane to Hong Kong, transiting through
Sydney with check-in luggage at the end of the month. In the past, I had to check-in with a
check-in agent (since my passport had to be checked), do they have check-in
agents in the new ‘Premium Check-in’ area?
I am QFF platinum card holder.
Good question...There are bag drop points and two agent check points but it doesn't look like a premium check-in counter. I suspect you'll have to go to the existing check-in area, have your passport checked, bag drop etc and then proceed through the premium entry...
Apparently connecting international pax who qualify for the premium entry should go to the agents in the new area and they will handle it. The premium line at the old service area has been removed, so now that whole area is just general service/assisted check-in.
Is that right? Wow - I've seen the old premium line often have 15min+ delays so how are they going to handle this in the new area? Maybe I missed location of the CS agents in the new premium area...
I am happy this question was asked, I am travelling from Brisbane to Bangkok in Business Class with transit in Sydney at the beginning of April and was wondering if we could use the new Business Class Premium entry to check our bags etc. ?
