This is my first question to the forum, and I hope Members might excuse my inexperience in asking this question.
I've just arranged a couple of J fares with Helloworld: PER-MEL-SIN-HKG return. We're booked with QF, EK and CX each way.
My question is, should I just stick with collecting FF points for the whole fare, or might there be a better advantage with Skywards Miles? (The e-ticket says it's issued on behalf of Emirates, but each flight shows each airline's flight code.) Thanks for any advice.
Your answer might depend on what you think your future plans are and your chances of redeeming skywards miles in future. And I'm not sure if you can earn skywards miles on Cathay (someone else will need to clarify)
I'd suggest having a play with the Qantas points calculator on the Qantas website (search in Google if you can't find it) and crunch some numbers to see if that helps you make a decision.
