I flew on QR SYD-DOH-LCA, and had my QFF number on the booking, assuming that I would at least earn some points. Literally zero! I would like to try to claim with either QR's FFP, or AA's, or RJ's. Is there a way I can do that, since QF didn't give me anything?

That doesn't sound right unless you were on a codeshare flight. Did they say why you weren't credit points?

What's your booking inventory?

Yes that's not right. QR & QF are both OneWorld, so you should have zero problems. I've had my flights credited and you should follow through - don't forget to keep your boarding passes.

Just because it's Oneworld doesn't mean you get points - there are CX flights I've had in the past that award no QF points - still got the benefits of QFF Gold, but had to credit points to Asia Miles. Not 100% in QR though, but no guarantee due to being Oneworld.

Cheaper Economy class tickets will often earn 0 points on partner airline frequent flyer programs - that is not a big surprise.
You can try calling Qatar and asking them (nicely) to credit your flight miles to another program - they may agree to that.
There are a couple of things that you need to check before you do that though:
1. Make sure that you check the partner airline's T&C's - I would not be surprised if another OneWorld partner grants exactly the same number of miles for the fare class you booked, namely ZERO.
2. In order to claim any miles on another OneWorld program, you need to have been a member of your chosen frequent flyer program before your flight. You cannot join a new program today and claim miles for a flight you took a month ago - no sane airline program will give you any miles for that.

I had the same issue - Qantas with emirates. EK no. but flex fare. Response from Qantas was invalid booking class. Didn't bother following up for the pittance it would have been, but then couldn't credit to EK either.

The Qantas website Calculator says that you would get 30 SC and 2,300 as a FF Bronze and discount economy fare flying QR for that itinerary (one way) Edit: As per Dimi's post below pointing out some errors, the threshold for eligible tickets appears to be fares sold by Qatar as 'Economy Value' or higher, so you MAY be due some SC's and Points.
Re: being able to claim for flights taken before joining. I believe that you used to be able to claim points on 'eligible flights' taken up to 30 days before joining the Qantas Frequent Flyer scheme I'm not sure if this is still the case. I would check each different airline scheme regarding ability to claim for flights made before joining (if this is an avenue you were thinking of exploring)

Not that is not guaranteed.
Qantas website shows that only Economy fares booked in Fare Classes BHKLMVY on Qatar will earn any miles.
Qatar Economy fare classes GNOQSTW earn 0 miles on Qantas (although they would earn 25% of trip miles on e.g. AAdvantage).
