Hi all - does anyone know why certain JQ flights, with a Business Class cabin, only show the Jetstar Max and not the Business Max Bundle? Does this have an impact on QFF Status Credits?
I'm looking at booking JQ57 MEL to BNE on the 787. On the add-ons page, only a Max (not Business Max) bundle is available and when it comes to seat selection the Business Class seats aren't available for selection, it defaults to row 11.
On the flight selection page, make sure you've selected the Business fare category (if you haven't done so already. It's easy to miss). Once you do that the Business Class fares should appear.
When you select the Business class fare the web site will automatically add on the 'Business Max bundle'. ($80 add-on for MEL>BNE). You should see a link onscreen that reads "View Max bundle rules'. If you click that link you will be taken to the 'Business Class fare with Max bundle fare rules' page. Scroll down this page and you will find information regarding the earning of QFF Status Credits. It states "Qantas Points and Status Credits are earned at the Qantas Flexible Economy Rate."
For what it's worth - the information on the above mentioned 'Business Class fare with Max bundle fare rules' page does not seem to correlate with Jetstar's 'www.jetstar.com/au/en/flights/frequent-flyer-partners/qantas-frequent-flyer' web page which indicates that Business Max fares equate to the 'Business' earn category in the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. Go figure !
If you cannot see the option to select Economy or Business (as per the last post), then perhaps try a different browser. I don't get that option in Firefox, but I do in Chrome.

Perfect, thank you both. That option was not visible to me in Safari, but is showing in Chrome. Booked! :)

You'd reckon that in this day and age that the website should be able to handle any browser!
